System Requirements

  • Sufficient available RAM on the computer to load and process the image files (the memory requirements vary depending on the image sizes)

Piczard is a .NET library uniquely composed of 100% managed code, written in C#.

  • Microsoft ASP.NET 4.5, 4.0, 3.5, 3.0 or 2.0
  • Read and write permission on the server file system

The installation of Piczard is very simple and doesn’t require any particular administrator permission.
Just copy the Piczard assembly into the “~/bin” folder of the ASP.NET application and grant the necessary read-write file permissions.

  • A browser compatible with the "XHTML 1.1" standard XHTML 1.1

  • Plug-in Adobe Flash 10.0 or higher, correctly installed and functioning with browser in use.

Piczard does not require any particular client side software download.
The control only uses x/html code and Adobe Flash movies.
No heavy Java applet is necessary !
This renders it compatible with 99% of browsers.

ASP.NET Medium Trust Compatible
Piczard uses the standard Windows GDI+ library to read / write / manipulate images.
This makes Piczard ASP.NET medium trust compatible.
Note: Some features may not be available or may not work properly in case Trust level is not "Full".
